Gary Pado – The Tipsy Concierge Head Blogger

My name is Gary Pado and I am a wine educator, trained through the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) program—considered by many to be the foremost international body in the field of wine and spirit education.* I enjoy a glass, or two, of wine every day and am a sucker for a big, bold Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.

I started The Tipsy Concierge as a way to share my knowledge and passion for wine and spirits with others seeking to learn more. This blog offers educational insights, wine country travel tips, industry insider information, while The Tipsy Concierge business offers wine and spirit tastings, education, food pairings and tour planning.

I started out as a wine consultant for a high end retail establishment and subsequently became a representative for an importer/distributor, selling a portfolio of wines from around the world. Presently I am an educator for wine and spirit tasting events.

Contact me if you are interested in creating customized educational tastings (for intimate to large groups) or unforgettable wine country excursions for every palate and level of interest.  I am at your service!

If you’re interested in The Tipsy Concierge’s services, please contact us here.

Cheers!

*Based in London, the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) program is considered by many to be the foremost international body in the field of wine and spirit education. I hold a Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits. This level acknowledges an advanced, comprehensive knowledge of the wide range of wines and spirits around the world. This qualification also has a specific focus on wine tasting technique. Currently I am enrolled in the Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits—the final level of specialist qualification offered through WSET. I have completed specialist credentials in Wine Production and Spirits of the World and am actively studying for the next Wines of the World examination.
